EI2SNG – AllStar/Echolink FM Gateway

Note: Gateway currently undergoing installation and testing (final stages). This page is for general information purposes prior to it going perminantly live.

General information and Predicted Gateway Coverage:

EI2SNG will provide fairly reliable coverage for a landmass of approximately 16,800 km square. Resident population within this area is 822,200. Additional coverage of a less reliable nature will be provided to certain townslands. Total landmass and population within the extended coverage boundaries comes to approximately 34,000 km sq and 1,780,000 residents.

Maritime Mobile operation is authorised for use through this gateway.

Most towns and villages located within the midlands (Ireland) should have satisfactory coverage. Radio usage will be possible indoors in some locations depending on wall thickness and other factors.

EI2SNG will be made accessible worldwide via both AllStar and Echolink.
