It is with great sadness that we report the passing of Tom O’Brien EI5CA, Radarc na Coille, Shannon, Co. Clare. Tom passed away peacefully at his home on Wednesday 20th May. He was a much respected and valued member of the Limerick Clare Amateur Radio Club. One of life’s gentlemen, his enthusiasm and dedication to Amateur Radio was infectious. Shannon Basin Radio Club

The Shannon Basin Radio Club is now having a net on Top Band every Monday evening at 20:00 Local on 1916 KHx. The 80 meters net continues to be on Wednesday evenings on 3720 KHz plus or minus QRM at 20:00 and the 2 meter net is on Thursday evenings at 20:00 local.
